Release location:BeijingOn May 8, all 135 wind turbines of SPIC's Yunnan International Fuyuan West Wind Power Project were connected to the grid for power generation, marking the full capacity of 800 MW of China's largest plateau wind power base to be put into operation.
As the largest plateau wind power base project in China, the construction unit carried out a series of self-developed innovative technologies such as intelligent diagnosis, grid adaptability, and intelligent inspection based on the component scientific research team during the construction process, and applied them to the construction of smart wind farms.
Fuyuan Xifeng Farm uses various intelligent sensing devices to collect data in all directions to realize remote monitoring, control and early warning of power generation equipment. This innovative method is also used for the first time in China.
The project is expected to have an annual on-grid electricity of 2.06 billion kwh, which can save 641,000 tons of standard coal, reduce 1.732 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions, and reduce 1,171.8 tons of sulfur dioxide emissions. The environmental benefits are remarkable.
